Chen-Tai Ma, Ph.D.

President / CEO

Dr. Ma is one of the co-founders of VETinfo SYSTEMS and now serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. While guiding the development of several pioneering DICOM products, Dr. Ma has overseen the exponential growth of the company over the last decade. He also brought his expertise to a special interest group of the DICOM Standards Committee in the late 1990s for common HL7 and DICOM objects. Before this latest undertaking, Dr. Ma had worked with the banking industry on a check processing system, and with the FBI on the development of a fingerprint identification system. Fran Curtis

Vice President, Administrative Services

Fran joined VETinfo SYSTEMS on its first day of opening its doors in 1997. She heads the Finance and Human Resource Departments, responsible for AP/AR, payroll, and compensation and benefits. Prior to joining VETinfo, Fran worked for 14 years at Star Technologies, Inc. in various Administrative roles. fcurtis@radinfoSYSTEMS.com


Dr. Martin R. Goldberg, BvSc, DVM

Veterinary Medical Director

Dr. Goldberg has 44 years of Veterinary experience in Equine Medicine. 12 years in Private Equine Practice in South Africa. 32 years at Berry College, Rome, Georgia in the Animal Science Pre-Vet program, where he held a dual appointment as Senior Lecturer and clinical Equine Veterinarian.

He has been a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners for 30 years and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association for 33 years.His professional interests are Equine Sports Medicine


Cliff Smith

Director of Marketing and Sales

A Texas native Cliff grew up in the farming and ranching world of cattle and quarter horses. He was educated at Texas A&M University and earned his degree there in Agricultural Economics.

Upon graduating, his professional career started as a Ranch Manager in Madisonville, Texas. From there, he transitioned to Managing Thoroughbred Breeding, Training and Racing Operations based in Ocala, Florida.
Cliff entered the Veterinary Distribution Business in 1997 with Milburn Distributions and has been focused on Equipment and practice development with Veterinarians consistently and exclusively for over 20 years.


John D. Cox, Ph.D

Product Manager

Dr. Cox has a 30-year career in the development of digital radiographic (DR) imaging technology. He a is principal inventor on 20 US patents, seven of which relate to digital x-ray imaging systems, and three pending patent applications which relate to Equine Radiology systems. He was also one of the co-founders of Eklin Medical Systems. As a consultant, Dr. Cox worked for several major medical x-ray equipment companies including: Philips Medical Systems, Canon Medical Systems and Perkin Elmer. He was a development project manager that produced an intraoral dental radiographic imaging system in 1991 and was the product manager for a flat-panel R&F system while working as an employee for Canon Medical Systems in 2008-2010. He led the architectural development team for the Canon Medical NE DR/R&F Console product (2006-2010).

Dr. Cox received a BSE (Nuclear Engineering), ME and Ph.D. from the University of Florida (UF) and spent 7 years on the faculty as an Assistant Research Scientist in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and 2 years as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering.


Angela Liang

Sr. Manager, Business Development & Inside Sales

Angela joined VETinfo SYSTEMS in 2000, after obtaining her M.B.A. at George Washington University. Angela heads VETinfo's Inside Sales and Procurement Departments. In this capacity, Angela manages insides sales, coordination between VETinfo's Regional Sales Managers, Dealer Channels and direct clients. In addition to these tasks, Angela works with the Executive Team at VETinfo in New Business Development. aliang@radinfoSYSTEMS.com


Robert MacHardy

Director of Engineer

Robert joined VETinfo SYSTEMS in the summer of 2012, after several years as a software engineer in the games industry. Since then, he has led the development of several projects involving cloud services, mobile web apps, network protocols, GPU accelerated image processing, and hardware/software integrations. Robert has a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University, double majoring in Computer Science and Studio Art. rmachardy@radinfoSYSTEMS.com
